Lawrence Gellerstedt IV
Lawrence, known by most as “LG,” was born and raised in Atlanta and is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. LG has a proven track record of working strategically with clients to make informed real estate decisions that prioritize their specific KPI’s. With more than 10 years of experience serving landlords and tenants in the commercial real estate space, LG has worked across some of the largest platforms in the world including Cushman & Wakefield and WeWork. LG oversees all of Southsource’s brokerage activities and leads the company’s tech investment strategy. With a passion for building authentic and lasting relationships, LG founded Southsource in 2020 to provide a more personalized and flexible solution for both tenants and landlords in the Atlanta market.
LG resides in Kirkwood with his wife Jessie, son Calvin, and two dogs Trout and Dove. As a fourth generation Atlantan, LG is passionate about giving back to the community and actively supports the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Southern Poverty Law Center and the Human Rights Campaign. When he’s not on the golf course, LG enjoys watching the Braves and coaching his son’s baseball team.
John Neal Scott
John Neal came to suburban Atlanta from Richmond, VA with his family at 9 months old, and he has been all-in on Atlanta ever since. A graduate of The University of Georgia, John Neal has 14 years of commercial real estate experience, with time spent at both large institutions and a local general contractor. At Southsource, John Neal will have a heavy focus on the Landlord Representation practice, as well as a leadership role across the entire platform including the company’s financial and operational strategy. He will leverage his experiences at JP Morgan and MetLife Real Estate where he served in a number of capacities, including Acquisitions, Asset Management, and Portfolio Management. Prior to Southsource, John Neal was working at Hollandsworth Construction where he focused on business strategy and financial operations. John Neal also has an MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
John Neal lives in Roswell, GA with his wife Hailey and their three children. He is an active member of North Point Community Church, and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, playing golf, and running. He is a long-suffering Atlanta (and UGA) sports fan.
Paul Tortora Jr.
Born and raised in the Northeast, Paul Tortora is a graduate of Saint Michael’s College and launched his commercial real estate career in the most complex market in the world, New York City. Paul has extensive experience working with tenacious occupiers, most recently at WeWork, where he helped execute one of the largest expansion strategies in history. Paul specializes in landlord representation and is passionate about creating customized, innovative strategies that drive long-term growth for his clients.
Though he once lived in Australia and most recently Manhattan, Paul is thrilled to be a new Atlanta resident and resides in Buckhead with his fiancé Carrie. Not quite ready to adopt Atlanta sports teams, Paul remains a devout New York sports fan and can be found watching the Giants, Rangers and Yankees in his spare time.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Bryce comes from a long line of real estate professionals. His diverse professional background focuses on asset management, acquisition, and tenant representation, with experience from Piedmont Office REIT, Colliers, and WeWork. Bryce brings a unique perspective to Southsource through his expertise in scale and advisement of high-growth technology tenants.
After attending The University of Georgia, Bryce made his way back to Atlanta and now lives in Inman Park. As a life-long learner, he fills his free time with astronomy, physics, and chemistry knowledge. When he’s not learning new things, he enjoys the outdoors, gardening, and freestyle rap music.
After spending the majority of his young life in Virginia Beach, Alec ventured further South to earn a degree from the Real Estate Program at the University of Georgia. Through his internship experiences at Federal Capital Partners and JLL, Alec has come to develop a profound knowledge of commercial real estate, and especially the Atlanta office sector. He's excited to contribute to the growth of the tenant rep business at Southsource.
Alec is fluent in Spanish after perfecting the language during a 10-month, five country tour of Latin-America during a gap year before moving to Georgia. Alec is active in the community, serving on the Young Board of Professionals at “Soccer in the Streets”. In his spare time, he enjoys watching college football and the premier league, as well as hanging by the lake and the beach with friends and family.
